The world feels dangerous. But in a very different way, those of us who are following Jesus are perceived as dangerous.

God is not a cosmic genie who promises to answer every request if we just believe strongly enough in His power.

When we understand that the presence of God is at work in the world, and the church—as a people—is called to be faithful to his presence through Jesus Christ, our understanding of mission is revitalized.

Everyone likes to be appreciated. I thought I would use this article to spur you to think about who you should thank. 

Often when people in the community talk about Watermarke Church, a similar comment can be heard: “It’s a church for unchurched people, right?”

How then can we cultivate a means of grace toward divine blessing for the benefit of the church in our day and the advancement of the kingdom of God among His people?

Sometimes even good leaders slip into bad listening habits. As you read these bad listening habits below, mentally check which one(s) you most easily slip into.

It should be noted there are no cookie-cutter solutions for reversing a declining church. Churches have unique characteristics, because they have different people.
