With understated simplicity, God reveals something of his nature in just 62 words. He loves church unity and bestows his blessing wherever he finds it.

At the risk of oversimplifying the issue, I'd offer you three basic reasons that might drive feelings of disappointment with our churches.

Culture is who you hire. Let me say that again, culture is who you hire.  You may currently have a healthy workplace culture. Warning, it should be protected and intensely guarded.

One person, one name, one life—your “one” who you know needs a relationship with Jesus to change the trajectory of their life.

The chase for approval can be crippling. Feelings of condemnation can keep us from becoming who God created us to be.

More and more pastors are dealing with the issue of depression. The pain is often deep, and few pastors have immediate places to turn for guidance and comfort. If that’s your church, here are some thoughts.

Essentially boundaries in ministry for leaders or pastors are like a property line around your yard, only in this case that yard is your soul.

No one is ever too old or to set in their ways that the Holy Spirit can’t change their hearts. Let’s never give up on our family and friends who don’t know Jesus.
