In addition to evangelizing to fellow patients, Yuan continues to make strides in his recovery. An update posted to social media on Wednesday (Oct. 8) included video of Yuan taking steps with the assistance of a walker.
In the video, Yuan can be heard saying, “So, I mean, the right leg is easy.” Taking another step, he adds, “Man, actually, my left is doing so much better.”
“We are praising God that Dr. Yuan’s recovery so far is exceeding expectations,” the update read. “God has used this terrible situation for good and His glory, as Christopher has been able to share the gospel to multiple people, and be a witness to all the nurses through his kindness.”

“We are so grateful for all the love and prayers,” the update continued. “Please continue to keep Dr. Yuan, his mother, and our ministry team in your prayers through the coming days.”
