“It’s a heightened reality,” he added, “but I did that in ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever‘ as well. So, it’s not completely out of my wheelhouse—or the wheelhouse of those who worked on the show.”
“Challenging? Yes. But very rewarding,” admitted Jenkins.
“There are lessons and truths in this show that, because they’re told through the eyes of children, adults are going to experience as well—maybe in ways they wouldn’t otherwise,” Jenkins concluded.
