Olasky earned his Ph.D. in American Culture from the University of Michigan and a B.A. from Yale University. He has written 30 books on journalism, faith, and public policy. He taught at The University of Texas at Austin from 1983 to 2008 and has held appointments at Princeton, San Diego State, The King’s College, and Patrick Henry College. He and his wife, Susan, have been married for 48 years and have four children and six grandchildren.
