Actor Frankie Muniz continues to open up about his Christian faith, sharing how attending church and listening to Christian music has helped calm his anxious thoughts.
Muniz, who is best known for playing the titular character in the hit television series “Malcolm in the Middle,” is set to reprise his role in a revival of the show, which will premiere on Disney+ in 2026.
As a young actor, Muniz starred in several films, including “Big Fat Liar” and “Agent Cody Banks,” before turning his attention to his passion for car racing.

Last month, Muniz, now 39, drew attention for a social media post in which he said, “I am proud to say I live for Jesus Christ.”
While at a recent racing event, Muniz was interviewed by Chat Us Up and was asked about the viral social media post and his faith in Jesus.
“I’ll be honest with you; it’s something that’s new [in] my life,” Muniz said. “I found it on accident.”
Muniz said that roughly six years ago, he was driving across the country, and “everything that could possibly go wrong was going wrong.”
“And I was almost in tears, and the only station that would play [on the radio] was K-Love,” Muniz recounted. He said that the Christian radio station was playing Kari Jobe’s “Cover the Earth,” followed by Big Daddy Weave’s “Overwhelmed.”

“And where I was—I was somewhere in New Mexico at the time—and it was like the perfect moment,” Muniz said. “And I haven’t turned off that radio station since.” Muniz added that after that day, he “started going to church every Sunday and really kind of being involved in my faith.”
