Asbury concluded by thanking everyone who offered them the use of “stadiums, arenas, churches and other resources with no strings attached.” He described their “commitment to see the gospel furthered,” something “beautiful,” and claimed it will “bear much fruit.”

Although Frank has been associated with Asbury’s alternative halftime show, Asbury’s name was signed to the statement.

Frank has yet to respond to Asbury’s social media post. ChurchLeaders has reached out to Frank for comment and will update this article in the event of a response.
