On Oct. 27, Jameson shared a photo of herself and her girlfriend Ocampo with the caption, “I love you @milsocampo. Psalm 30:5.” The verse reads, “For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
ChurchLeaders reached out to Jameson on Instagram and asked if she would be willing to address her relationship with Ocampo. She replied, “I suggest you mind your own business.”
Former Adult Film Star Turned Pastor Joshua Broome Shares Excitement Regarding Jenna Jameson’s Newfound Faith
Joshua Broome was a star in the adult film industry for six years before coming to faith in Jesus. Today, Broome serves as the executive director of Walk Worthy, a new subdivision of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). He and his wife, Hope, have four children together.
Broome travels across the nation speaking about the dangers of pornography and how people can be rescued from porn addiction, which plagues both men and women, Christian and non-Christian alike.
Yesterday, Broome shared on social media that he met Jameson when he was in the industry and the two recently reconnected. Broome wrote, “When you come to Jesus, He isn’t asking for perfection—He’s asking for your heart.”
“If you’ll bring Him your past, your pain, and your pride,” said Broome, “He’ll meet you with mercy. He’ll forgive, restore, and begin transforming you from the inside out.”
“The same God who met Moses after murder, David after adultery, and Peter after denial is still meeting people today,” Broome shared. “Salvation isn’t about earning or proving anything. It’s about trusting the One who already paid for everything. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, grace is still greater.”
“And if you’ll surrender your life to Him—Jesus won’t make you better. He’ll make you new,” added Broome.
In his video, Broome expressed excitement about the news that Jameson gave her life to Jesus, saying, “It made me excited, hopeful, [and] happy, even…she left the industry in 2008 about two years after I got in the industry.”
“I don’t know the validity of her faith or where she stands with Jesus today, but if she has professed her faith in Jesus Christ and has in obedience, been baptized, I celebrate that,” Broome explained. “I pray that wherever she is, the Spirit of living God, the one who convicts, corrects and transforms and does what only the Spirit of God can do, does exactly that, brings her from death to life, from guilt to grace, from shame to peace.”
