“Jesus descended from the white marble steps of heaven and anointed me with a crown,” McGregor described. “I was saved! My brain. My heart. My soul. Healed! I was 36hours under before I finally rested. When I awoke I was me again.”
The former UFC Lightweight Champion and Featherweight Champion told his 10.5 million X followers that his experience was the “most enlightening and enchanting experience” he has ever been through. “This treatment is worth its weight in GOLD,” McGregor said. “It is very, very tough, but it absolutely saved my life, and in turn saved my family.”

“Thank you for all your inspiration, motivation, encouragement, well wishes, support, and most importantly, for your prayers,” McGregor added. “THEY WORKED! I am my child again. But this time with the knowledge of my adult! To my family, my friends, my fans. My support! My team! Baby, we did it! The World is in for a treat!”
McGregor concluded his post with a message to God. “I am yours!! Thank you for bestowing upon me this incredible blessing that I take with great care and absolute seriousness,” he said. “I live my life per your word and nothing more. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Your Great Grandson, Conor McGregor .”
McGregor followed up his post by sharing a picture of himself kneeling and praying beside his bed. The caption above his photo read, “Motivation. Isolation. Discipline. But above all. Prayer! ”

Over the course of his fighting career, McGregor has had multiple sexual assault allegations brought against him, some resulting in his arrest, but none that have led to criminal charges. He is currently serving an 18-month ban for violating the UFC’s anti-doping policy, a suspension that will end on March 20, 2026.
McGregor shares four children with his fiancée, Dee Devlin. The couple have been dating since 2008 and got engaged in 2020.
