Awards continue to pile up for the 30-year-old. Frank took home artist of the year, pop/contemporary recorded song of the year, and pop/contemporary album of the year from the 2025 GMA Dove Awards, although he did not attend the ceremony. He recently announced he would be opting out of attending all award shows in the future, including the Grammys.
“No this is not a refusal to be a light in dark places,” Frank said. “This is a refusal to go on stages and get awards. I already got the greatest award of all time. Hope y’all can understand love you guys 
.”
Frank even engaged in a public argument with fellow artist Cory Asbury.
“We ended up talking on the phone,” Frank recalled, “and just explaining each other’s sides, and I got to finally hear his story.” The two spent time together and “hit it off.”
Frank and Asbury plan to share the stage at Frank’s upcoming tour, The Jesus Generation, in dozens of cities, along with Tori Kelly and The Figs.
