“But under Hugo Chávez, it got more tight and under Maduro really tight to where people having God’s Word in their language was actually a not good thing and the government had an opinion, and they actively took steps to stop that,” said Byron.

“When the very fundamental things that we as Christians want the world to share in, when those things are denied and actively undermined and persecuted, that’s a challenge,” Byron said.

Byron estimates that nearly 85% of population in Venezuela “and the millions outside are thrilled about what’s happening.”

“If anyone’s listening to this, please stop and and pray for our pastors, for the people, and for what’s going to happen with this government,” Thompson asked.
