8. Assistant Coach Leslie Frazier

Seahawks assistant coach Leslie Frazier won the Super Bowl in 1986 while playing for Chicago and in 2007 while on Tony Dungy’s coaching staff in Indianapolis. From 2010 to 2013, he served as head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.

No matter where Frazier has landed, faith in God has been his foundation. “I trust that God is in control and that things are gonna work out,” he said in 2022, while with Buffalo. “My purpose is to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ, [and] as long as I’m filling what my purpose is, if I’m doing that, what God has called me to do, I’ll be fine.”
Being an assistant coach gives Frazier time to build relationships with players. “You are truly a servant in this role,” he told CBN last season. To be an effective mentor, Frazier said, he has to stay in the Word and in prayer daily. Inspired by the example of former boss Dungy, he leads regular devotions for Seahawks staff.
“I’m thankful that God opened this door,” Frazier added, noting that God put him in Seattle “for a time such as this” (Esther 4:14).
