“Put him first. He’s got to be first place. Every other relationship in your life will be better when he is in first position,” Ireland said. “And don’t let fear or someone else’s opinion of you, defeat you [or] destroy you—it doesn’t matter.”
Kathy Ireland Sues Her Business Partners
Earlier this week, Ireland and her husband filed a lawsuit against her former business managers, claiming they looted millions from her fortune.
“Kathy and Greg now know there are no substantial retirement accounts. There are no prudently managed investments securing their future, as promised,” the lawsuit states. “There is no wealth securing their retirement and their children’s futures, as they were lead to believe. Instead, in the wake of Defendants misconduct, there was staggering debt, misused credit, secret loans, and missing funds.”

The lawsuit continues, “Kathy Ireland is a woman known publicly for her faith, service, and integrity. These are not marketing slogans; they are central to who she is.”
“Defendants opportunistically took advantage of and leveraged her character—her loyalty, her trust, her reluctance to assume deceit—as a shield for their own disreputable conduct,” the lawsuit adds.
“While Kathy worked, and worked, and worked some more—traveling, speaking, licensing products, building relationships, generating goodwill and revenue—she was never paid a salary,” says the suit. “Instead, she was told her income was being invested by Defendants. What a lie—it was not.”
In 2015, Forbes reported Ireland’s fortune was estimated at $420 million.
