52 Couples Say ‘I Do’ During a Mass Wedding After Sermon at Texas Megachurch

“These 52 couples heard the marriage sermon two weeks ago, came under conviction. They wanted to honor God and get married, met with pastors for council, and tonight they got married,” he said.

“52 couples, 52 families, 52 lineages and legacies, and family trees changed forever,” the pastor added. “I am going to honor these couples at the beginning of my sermon tomorrow, please give them a STANDING OVATION to show them their church family is behind them, heart and soul.”

During his sermon the following day, Howerton followed through on his words.

“Can we show them right now how honored we are to share that moment with them and how proud of them we are?” Howerton said. “Come on, man. Well done. Well done. Well done. Well done, man. Seriously, like proud of you. That’s like a proud, proud, proud moment.”
