Enck said he hopes “A Great Awakening” will inspire audiences to “illuminate the lives around them.”

“And those lives can illuminate more, and it becomes an inferno of inspiration across the nation,” he said.

“I hope people come away believing that they could be that tiny candle that illuminates the next thousand,” Blair said. “I hope the next George Whitfield is out there, and this is the film that gives them the confidence that the Lord is stirring them to be that candle.”

A Great Awakening” is playing in theaters now.
