Kevin Burgess, who goes by his stage name KB, said he was involved in a head-on collision on April 1.

“Head-on collision yesterday. Maybe the devil was trying to take me out,” KB wrote in a caption next to a video showing the aftermath of the accident. “I care a lot less about what he was trying to do…I’m focused on what I’ve been called to do.”

KB shared he was a “little beat up” from the air bags deploying and will “definitely need some time to process the trauma.”

But, he said, “we’re moving forward.”

The Dove Award-winning artist is scheduled to play the first date on “The Signal Tour” with Terrian and Trip Lee next Thursday in Cincinnati.

“I’ll see y’all next week on tour,” KB said. “I might be moving a little slower but my praise is way deeper! He has saved me again 🙏🏾.”

In the video , KB wrote, “Realizing this was almost the end this morning.” He also revealed that this is the second accident he has been involved in over the past two months. Both were “no fault” accidents on his part, but both cars were totaled.

“I don’t know what’s happening right now,” he told his followers in a video showing his car’s mangled hood. “Thank you, Lord, for your grace and your mercy towards this sinner here.”

“I’m going to head over the hospital, but I’m fine, I feel okay. I’m a little nauseous. My hand, it burnt up from the airbag,” KB said.

With his wife and friends at the scene of the accident, KB shared he was feeling “overwhelmed” at the moment.

“I had to climb out the car,” he said. “What is going on? But we will continue to trust him. He is in control and I’m safe in that.”
