“I’m not gonna sit up here and throw Bibles at everybody,” Carr said Saturday. “But I do have faith, and I do believe. That’s how we raise our children, and that’s what the basis of our marriage is on. I love my wife because of the way that I am loved and how I learned that love.”
The QB, who is reuniting with former Raiders head coach Dennis Allen, promises to give his all to his new team. “I want to be a blessing, not a burden,” says Carr. “I’m going to be very imperfect, but you’ll get literally everything I have.” Noting that New Orleans has a “college feel,” he adds, “It would be so awesome to win for these people.”
