“Dear God, Prepare me for the coming week. Take away my worries and my regrets. Recharge my soul and renew my hope,” the prayer read. “Please go before me. Clear the way and protect me. Bring the right people into my life and move the wrong people out of the way. Guide me with Your love and give me Your joy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
On Tuesday, a witness reported spotting a man matching Arrington’s description in Leake County. The suspect was seen in a trailer on the witness’s property. When police responded, they found backpacks and other evidence that the trailer had been recently occupied.

Early Wednesday morning, Arrington was reportedly killed in a standoff with police after barricading himself in a Leake County home. During the standoff, Arrington allegedly shot one officer in the leg. That officer was taken to the hospital and has since been stabilized.
The house also caught fire during the standoff, though it is unclear exactly what caused the fire.

At the time of this article, the other three escapees are still at large, at least one of which is believed to have fled to Texas.
