Camp said that through this process he has learned a lot about trusting Christ and letting go of doing things in his own strength.

“God is in control and, and he loves us more than we even know,” Camp said. “And so for me, I feel like he’s stripping apart every little ounce of control that I think I have and literally making me rely so much more on him in a beautiful way.”
The process has been “so, so rich, and it’s drawing me a lot closer to Jesus. That’s for sure,” he added.
One of the reasons Camp was reluctant to share his medical condition was because he didn’t like being “dramatic,” so the process of sharing was “difficult” for him.
Camp shared that the doctors have cleared him to start his Theater Tour next week in Franklin, North Carolina. “Multiple times, they gave us the clearance for tour next week,” Adrienne said.

Camp’s wife attributed the doctors’ clearance to everyone’s prayers. “Waking up on Monday morning knowing that literally thousands of you guys were just praying,” Adrienne added, “I can’t even begin to tell you how beautiful the body of Christ is coming together and being together in this…We really felt so carried and so cared for just by everyone’s prayers.”
“I felt such a peace,” Camp said, sharing that immediately after surgery, his blood pressure was perfect, something that hadn’t been true for some time.
As the Camps concluded their video, they asked their fans to pray for a “quick recovery” and said, “We’ll see you on tour next week.”
