Mandisa ‘Did Not Harm Herself,’ Father Says During Celebration of Life Service

Hundley said that Mandisa recently had “gotten COVID-19 and she had been weak trying to get over that, but she was trying to press through.”

“May she rest in peace,” he added.

Hundley concluded his time sharing that his favorite Mandisa song was “We All Bleed the Same,” featuring TobyMac and Kirk Franklin, and how he witnessed her music break down racial barriers.

Hundley encouraged everyone to continue his daughter’s legacy of being an ambassador of God by living in peace with one another.

“I’m asking you to be an ambassador of one to help America come together. Black, white, Jews, Gentiles, Latinos, everybody,” he said going on to quote Psalms 133:1.

“She wants us to live together. In peace. Let’s do that,” he said.
