Paul Chappell, the senior pastor of Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, California, and the president of West Coast Baptist College, wrote, “Praying for First Baptist Church Dallas and ⁦Robert Jeffress⁩ as their sanctuary, built in 1891, is on fire. Pastor Jeffress saw 114 saved today at his VBS and stands against the woke, and sinful movements in our nation.”

Oklahoma state senator and Southern Baptist Pastor Dusty Deevers said, “Historic downtown First Baptist Dallas is engulfed in flames. Pray for the church family.”
