The Music of Anne Wilson Covers Topics Like Salvation and Healing
Since she was 15, Wilson has been singing on stage. And since that time, her music career has taken off. Her debut single, “My Jesus,” was released in 2021—earning a GOLD-certified No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart.
Wilson was a featured artist, along with Andy Mineo and Newsong, at the 2023 Winter Jam music tour. In 41 cities over three weeks, tour officials reported more than 7,000 people came to know Christ.
“There’s so much power in music, especially music that glorifies Jesus,” said Wilson. “So just thinking back on when I wrote that song, and then to now see how many lives it’s impacted, it’s an honor and I’m so grateful.”
She told the story of a fan whose life was transformed when she heard Wilson’s hit, “My Jesus.” The fan was battling cancer, had lost her hair, and was contemplating suicide. While listening to music in her car, “My Jesus” came on.
