‘I Am the One That Jesus Loves’—3 Doors Down Lead Singer Has Concertgoers Repeat Words of Apostle John

“You are loved, you are enough, and you will win,” he said. “Not only can you win, but you will win. You’ll always be enough for one reason: that’s because Jesus Christ loves you.”

Not only does Jesus love people exactly as they are but Arnold also told the crowd that Jesus “loves you enough to let you know that you’re not complete. That’s not all you’ll be. There’s more, I promise you. There’s more, and you will win.”

Arnold mentioned that the Apostle John “described himself as the one that Jesus loved, not because he was the greatest. He said those things despite all his failures, just like we all have. I fail every day. I failed all day today. You failed today, but you’re still the one that Jesus loves.”

“And I would love it more than anything…if you would say these words with me, please,” said Arnold. “Just repeat after me, very simply: I am the one that Jesus loves. Amen, my friends. Thank you so much.”

At least 27,000 people were reportedly in attendance, and the crowd generally responded to Arnold’s words with cheers and applause, joining him in repeating those words.

A video posted on YouTube a year ago shows Arnold telling the audience at a different concert that Jesus loves them. The lead singer is also not hesitant to share his faith on his social media. One post quotes Psalm 56:11, which says, “In God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me?”
