“I do think it’s entertaining,” Lake said. “There’s insight, there’s behind-the-scenes stuff, there’s real conversations about life and the hardships of doing a tour and just life in general.”
“But it all leads up to this moment at the end where we present the gospel that has changed our lives,” Lake continued. “We were that one that was far from God, and now we have a relationship with him that changed everything.”

“So our hope is that as people worship and as they respond to the gospel, that thousands, if not millions, of lives would be changed,” Lake added.
Both Wickham and Lake shared stories of how they witnessed God use the Summer Worship Nights Tour to bring people to salvation.
A wife brought her husband of 40 years to one of the shows. Through a direct message, the wife told Wickham that she had been praying for her husband to accept Jesus as his personal savior. In the message, she shared a photo of her husband raising his hand during the concert, letting everyone know that he had made a commitment to follow Jesus.
Lake shared that at another show, he witnessed a security guards leading another security guard to Christ after one of the songs prompted them to have a conversation. “I keep praying for a revival, but I’m starting to think that we might be in one right now,” Lake said.
“For the One” is playing in theaters now.
“Don’t just come yourself,” Lake encouraged. “Bring someone with you, that’s what will make the difference.” More information can be found here.
