‘The Chosen’ Finds a Streaming Home, Inks Agreement With Amazon

Previously, Dallas Jenkins teased other projects, including “The Chosen Adventures,” an animated show about Jesus that is aimed at kids. The director has also mentioned a three-season series about Moses, a limited series about Joseph, and a next chapter of “The Chosen” based on Acts.

The Chosen” was originally crowdfunded and has a loyal fan base. About Sunday’s announcement, Jenkins wrote, “It’s really important to us that you understand not just what we’re doing, but why.”

The director also shared that fans can sign up to be extras in “The Chosen,” Season 6, which will film in Texas and Utah. The exact filming dates and the number of extras needed are still to be determined, and Jenkins said a donation is required.
