“The Chosen” was originally crowdfunded and has a loyal fan base. About Sunday’s announcement, Jenkins wrote, “It’s really important to us that you understand not just what we’re doing, but why.”
The director also shared that fans can sign up to be extras in “The Chosen,” Season 6, which will film in Texas and Utah.
