Bure also revealed she wanted to “honor my close friend who’s been here before”—someone she described as being “one of the loudest personalities I know.” That turned out to be her “Full House” TV dad, Bob Saget, who died in 2022 at age 65.

Saget’s 2020 Squiggly Monster performance marked the first time Bure had watched “The Masked Singer,” which immediately “endeared” her to the reality show.

If Bure had made it to next week’s episode, she would have participated in a ’90s Week theme. The clues about her would have been more obvious, she said—especially to celebrity judge Robin Thicke. “Robin and I were childhood friends,” said Bure. “We were boyfriend/girlfriend for like a week. When we were 12 or 13 years old, we crushed on each other.”
