For 11 years, the Tebows have promoted “Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine,” an annual event honoring people living with special needs. Now, more than 800 churches around the world participate in the event.

“Eleven years ago, as we were watching the first one in North Carolina, I stood outside the parking lot to watch some of the kings and queens go down the red carpet,” Tebow said of this year’s event, “and I couldn’t help but have tears fall down the side of my face.”

Tebow shared that he’s experienced “something special when you could see someone [who] was made in the image of God finally realize their true value and worth, because that is what Night to Shine is all about.”

The couple continues to live out their faith with deep appreciation for human life. They are expecting their first child, a daughter, later this year.

Tim Tebow Supports Demi-Leigh’s New Children’s Book

On the same day that the White House posted about the Tebows’ visit, Tim Tebow posted about an entirely different topic. He continues to promote the release of his wife’s first children’s book.

Demi-Leigh, Tim Tebow’s wife, is an anti-trafficking advocate and former Miss Universe who “encourages young readers to find their purpose.”

“Are you kidding? I am so excited,” exclaimed Tebow in a video. “I am so proud of you, Demi,” he continued. “‘Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose’ on shelves today.”

Princess Paris Finds Her Purpose” follows a young princess after she loses her crown. Princess Paris meets and helps various characters throughout the book, and “she soon discovers that being a princess requires more than wearing a shiny crown.”

“Let’s go!” Tebow said. “Because of this book, I think there are going to be so many amazing conversations that moms get to have with their daughters. And, hopefully many girls really find their purpose—their purpose in who and whose they are.”
