Beth Moore on Wellness and Restoration
Moore ended her post by returning to Jesus’ question to the infirm man by the pool of Bethesda:
Do we want to get well? I mean, if wellness is a real possibility, and restored ability a realistic outcome, would we be willing to endure what it would take? What would it take to be a healthy person? In any realm, really. Physically, emotionally, spiritually. And would you be willing to work your tail off with God toward a result no one can guarantee? All you would know is that God will be with you?
In response to Moore’s post about her continued health struggles, people are commenting that they’re praying for healing and strength. Followers are also telling Moore they’re grateful for her lessons about faith and resilience.
Last October, two weeks before the U.S. presidential election, Moore shared on X that she’d be taking a break from the social media platform. “Take care of yourselves! Guard those beautiful hearts and minds of yours!” she told her followers. “It’s gonna get uglier.” Upon her return this week, Moore wrote, “I have missed y’all so much.”
