“The case should have never gotten this far. It’s shameful that government officials would use the criminal legal process to censor art and expression,” said the statement. “We applaud that our First Amendment rights have prevailed here.”

“These photos of children too young to consent are objectively obscene, appeal to a prurient interest, and feed a culture of child sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking,” said Colter in her statement. “The Danbury Institute will always fight for children and for decency, and our team is currently working with legislators to stop vile content like this from evading legal repercussions.”
