While Robinson wouldn’t have chosen this path for Pierce’s life or his family, the Dig World creator got emotional thinking of how God is using Pierce’s story to bring people to Jesus.
Robinson said:
This is not the story that I wake up every day excited about, but if my boy—and I get choked up talking about this—gets to be a part of somebody else’s story of them spending eternity with Jesus…that has to be where you find your hope and your freedom and your joy, because we know one day Pierce and I are gonna be running beside each other in heaven.
In March, Robinson was invited to pitch his vision for more Dig World adventure parks to investors Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner, and Robert Herjavec on ABC’s “Shark Tank.” Robinson landed a deal with Herjavec for $200,000 in exchange for 10% equity in his company.
“Dig World is going to be huge. It’s fun, it’s exciting, and it’s got real potential to grow nationwide,” Herjavec said. “Jacob’s passion and determination are exactly what I look for in a founder.”
Dig World is also partnering with YouTube sensation Dude Perfect to help bring new adventure parks around the nation that will include Dude Perfect-themed attractions.
