In response to the question of whether she will tell her children that she did porn, De La Mora said, “Of course. I’m not gonna lie to them. I believe that transparency silences the enemy, and yes, I already have age-appropriate conversations with them, and yes, one day, they are going to know what I did.”
“It’s not something that I’m proud of,” she said, “but I’m not going to hide it from them, just like I wouldn’t hide the fact that I did drugs or anything.”

“Why?” De La Mora continued. “Because I want to empower them to not make the same dumb decisions that I made.”
“I made decisions out of brokenness,” she said, “and I want them to make decisions out of wholeness and out of wisdom and learning from my mistakes, so I will be honest with them about everything—of course, sparing the details.”
