Dungy said his routine doesn’t change, no matter what city his job takes him to. “I do that no matter what. If it’s Buffalo and it’s minus five in January, I am still taking that walk,” he said. “I’m going to be thankful for what I see.” Dungy shared that his routine includes him posting about what he is thankful for on his social media.
“It’s amazing that when you take that approach, you do see things that make you thankful,” he told Romano.
Dungy admitted that there are times when his schedule gets busy and he is tempted to put things in place of his time with Jesus. “You just have to be careful and say, ‘No, no, I’ve got to schedule this in and stick to my schedule,’” he said. “I think being an ex-coach has kind of helped me.”
