Gabriel interjected to share a text he had just received from his mother:
She said that when Brian was singing, she put the phone up to his ear, and she said that tears were rolling down his face. He heard the music, and he hears what we say. As dad said—I want to echo and I’ll turn it back to him in a second. As a family, our lives have been devoted to the work of God, and we need all of you to join us, to pray and to seek God on our behalf, because, as dad said just a second ago, we serve a big God, and we believe that God is able to do a miracle here tonight, and that’s what we’re asking for right now.
While at the hospital, Donnie prayed for the Lord to bring his father “back and let him tell us what he saw in heaven. Let us hear what he felt and what he saw.”
An update on Swaggart’s condition was posted on social media on Monday afternoon. “At this time, there has been no change in his condition. We ask that you continue to lift him up in prayer and believe God for a miracle—but above all, we trust in the Lord’s perfect will,” said the update.
“We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of the Swaggart family during this time and refrain from calling to inquire,” the update continued. “For the latest information, please continue to follow our official Ministry social media pages listed below. Thank you, once again, for standing with us in faith and prayer.”
