The cruise’s website described it as “a unique opportunity to worship on the open seas and create memories that will last a lifetime.”
In an Instagram post, Nix said it was “a privilege to be alongside so many amazing people and minister.”
“I feel so full,” she said. “God is good!” In another post featuring a picture of her and her family, Nix said, “Worshiping in the middle of the ocean!”

Despite not winning the “American Idol” competition, Nix has still experienced success following the show. In May, Nix reached the No. 1 spot on Apple’s Country chart with her single, “Higher.” The track is a cover of singer-songwriter Toby Lightman’s song.
