While Jesus is not shown on camera, we see a Roman guard hammering a nail into a cross as his followers weep. John the Apostle holds Mary the mother of Jesus as the two sob. Mary Magdalene, Tamar, the sisters of Lazarus, and Joanna are also shown weeping and embracing at the foot of the cross.
Most striking of all, however, is the impact on the cast and crew when the scenes are not being filmed. Jenkins embraces Elizabeth Tabish, who plays Mary Magdalene, as both are overcome with emotion. Jenkins also embraces Lara Silva, who plays Simon Peter’s wife, Eden; Amber Shana Williams, who plays Tamar; and George H. Xanthis, who plays the Apostle John.

Near the end of the video Jenkins meets his wife, Amanda, who holds him as he stands with his arms by his sides and his face on her shoulder. One user commented below the video, “Dallas, who is strong and comforting to the whole team, falls with his arms dangling, mentally and physically exhausted, into the arms of his wife. The most moving image of this video.”
