Michael Sweet of the Christian Metal Band Stryper Shares That His Father Has Died

Since the band’s formation in 1982, Stryper has been nominated for a Grammy Award and has received multiple Dove Awards.

In March 2009, Sweet lost his wife, Kyle, of 22 years, after a battle with ovarian cancer. He remarried in 2010 to Lisa Champagne.
