A York County, Pennsylvania, pastor is facing multiple charges and a protective order filed by his wife after he allegedly assaulted and threatened her in a domestic dispute. Bishop Anthony Pinkney of Bethel Commandment Church is currently out of custody on a $50,000 bond.
According to the WGAL, Pinkney is prohibited from contacting his wife, entering their home, or carrying any weapons.
Pinkney’s wife, Kisha, is alleging that Pinkney became physically violent with her during an argument on July 3. The argument centered on an alleged extramarital affair.

According to Kisha, Pinkney punched her, dragged her across the floor, and slammed her head into the ground. Pinkney allegedly pinned Kisha to the floor and began asking where his gun was, saying, “I’m going to blow your brain away.”
Pinkney is also accused of threatening to rape Kisha so that she would “shut the [expletive] up.”
The following morning, Kisha went to the hospital to document her injuries. She reported hearing loss in her left ear. Pinkney was in the parking lot and reportedly admitted to police that the couple had “tussled” the night before.
Pinkney was subsequently arrested. He now faces one felony count of aggravated assault and two felony counts of strangulation.
Pinkney has also been charged with one misdemeanor count of making terroristic threats and one misdemeanor count of simple assault.
It is unclear whether Pinkney remains the pastor of Bethel Commandment Church. He is still listed on the church’s website as its pastor.
