The pastor shared a paraphrased quote by Kirk that encouraged:
When the world is in chaos, when everything around you is just noise and crazy and everybody’s freaking out, the best thing you can do is slow down, open up the Bible, read the Word, get still before the Lord, and basically center yourself so you don’t fall into all of that.

“This is one of those moments,” Miles said. “There’s people jumping into conspiracy theories and doing all these sorts of things. Stop, stop, stop. Pick up the Word. Pick up the Word before you doom scroll for hours. Pick up the Word and allow the Lord to minister to your heart.”
The pastor expressed how Kirk impressed him “in every single way around every corner. He was real.”
“What you saw in public was who I found in private,” Miles added. “In fact, I probably would say that he was even better in private than he was in public. He was stronger. He was so caring.” Miles shared, “When you talked to him, you felt like you were the most important person in the world.”
“And I think that if Charlie were here today, and I truly believe that he’s with the Lord, cheering us on from heaven right now, that I believe that his message would be, ‘Slow down for a second, get your heart set right, and then get in the fight,'” Miles continued. “This is not a fight that’s flesh and blood. This is a fight that is about truth and about the kingdom of darkness versus a kingdom of light, and it’s the most important battle we’ll ever face.”
Miles concluded by praying for Kirk’s family, TPUSA, pastors, and the church.
