“Go get some sunshine. Go look at a tree—touch grass,” he said. “Call a friend.”
Pratt challenged himself along with every viewer, “If you’ve got time to be on your phone right now, you’ve got time to do your to-do list. And, you’ve got time to reach out to somebody in need.”
In a video that has nearly 10 million views, Pratt interrupted people’s days and challenged them with a fresh perspective.
While some took the opportunity to post political statements and memes, others doubted Pratt’s sincerity. But many were grateful for the nudge to pause.
“Just went on a walk with my husband and dog,” posted one person. “It helped.”
Another shared that he finds his “peace on the water,” along with a photo of his paddleboard on a lake. The user added, “Usually a lake or the ocean, but rivers, and creeks as well.”

“Had to thank you for this,” admitted someone else. “I was scrolling, found this, repeated the prayer and had a very productive day. Thank you sir for the reminder and encouragement. May God bless you and his words flow through you and many others to fight the evil and quiet the minds of the weary.”
Lord, fill me with strength to turn my attention toward you, that I find rest and joy in your presence. Amen. — Chris Pratt @prattprattprattClick to Post
