Look at Colossians 1:

  • He makes the invisible God visible (v.15)

  • He is supreme over all creation (v.15b)

  • Everything was created through Him and for Him (v.16)

  • He holds all things together (v.17)

  • He is the head of the Church (v.18)

  • He is first over death through resurrection (v.18b)

  • He is preeminent in all things (v.18c)

He is Creator. He is Sustainer. He is King.

We’re not the potters shaping Him. He is the Potter, and we are the clay.

Real Worship Transforms Us

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
— Proverbs 3:5

When we truly know the Jesus of Scripture:

  • We care about what He cares about

  • We’re angry at what angers Him

  • We forgive like He forgives

  • We love how He loves

This is the kind of worship that changes lives.

Unchanging Truth

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
— Hebrews 13:8

Your opinions don’t define Him. Your preferences don’t shape Him. And your rejection of Scripture doesn’t change who He is.

If you say you love Jesus, then you must love the Bible—because it’s through the Word that we meet the real, living Savior.
