Seahawks' New Video Encourages Viewers to Embrace Christ

In a new documentary video titled The Making of a Champion, Russell Wilson, quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, gives his testimony including how Jesus appeared to him in a dream at age 14.

Wilson is among a number of Seattle Seahawks players and coaches who share their life stories in the video. Clint Gresham, a long snapper, safety Chris Maragos and offensive tackle Russell Okung are also featured, sharing their professional and faith journeys both on and off the field.

Gresham specifically gives the gospel message in the video and offers viewers an opportunity to be saved. “Say Jesus, I invite you into my life. I want to make you Lord of my life,” Gresham recited. “I acknowledge that I have sinned, I’ve messed up and I want to accept what you did on the cross on my behalf, so that I can have fellowship with you.”
