3. Ask for Help from Leadership

If you’ve tried to grow your group without much success, don’t hesitate to reach out to your church leadership. They may know of people looking for a group or may have resources to support your outreach efforts. Some churches even offer group growth training or seasonal group launches to connect people more effectively.

Your church may also be able to feature your group in announcements, emails, or social media to help raise visibility.

4. Reevaluate Your Meeting Format

If you’re wrestling with whether your small group size is too small, take time to assess both the challenges and the opportunities. Through intentional invitations, partnership, leadership support, and creativity, you can either grow your group or maximize its current potential.

Don’t be discouraged by small beginnings. With prayer, effort, and community vision, your group can become exactly the place God intends it to be. What step will you take this week to nurture the growth of your small group?
