The SBC Executive Committee has released a statement responding to the criticism of an amicus brief that was quietly submitted on its behalf to the Kentucky Supreme Court earlier this year.

It was revealed this week that lawyers representing SBC entities submitted an amicus brief to the Kentucky Supreme Court arguing against statute of limitations reform for sexual abuse survivors.

Over 200 Congress members have asked the Supreme Court to consider overturning Roe v Wade, the landmark case that guarantees a woman's right to an abortion.
