For young people to grow in their faith, learning how to study the Bible is incredibly important. Youth leaders play a big role in this, teaching teenagers to love and actually understand God's Word.

BibleProject's Tim Mackie and Jon Collins say it's not surprising if people find the Bible hard to understand. "Most people," says Tim, "aren’t in the habit of reading ancient texts from across the planet from thousands of years ago, and that’s what the Bible is."

Senator Ted Cruz started off the D.C. Bible Reading Marathon saying, "Now more than ever we turn toward the Word of God to light our way."

If you've ever wondered just how important it is to read Scripture, Francis Chan believes it's crucial. In fact, he thinks that if everyone read the Bible consistently, it would would change everything.

A Bible podcast started by a woman in Dallas, Texas, now has 13 million downloads from listeners throughout the world. Tara-Leigh Cobble started the podcast to help people understand and love Scripture and to love God more as a result.

A Kansas teen who challenged herself and read her Bible in a year met her goal the day before she died in a car crash on August 10, 2018. Her mom is now using her daughter's example to encourage others to devote more time to God's word.
