On Thanksgiving Day, the wife of Arizona street preacher Hans Schmidt gave thanks for a God who “upholds us during times like this.”

Pastor Gary Marsh of Victory Chapel First Phoenix, whose 26-year-old outreach director, Hans Schmidt, was shot in the head last week, told the congregation that they’re “never going to stop preaching on the streets.”

According to reports, police in Watertown, Wisconsin, arrested a 19-year-old street preacher at a drag queen event during the city’s annual “Pride in the Park” on Saturday, July 29.

Matthew Meinecke, known on social media as The Seattle Preacher, was arrested last weekend for preaching and reading his Bible, once during a Roe v. Wade rally and the next day at a Pride parade.

72-year-old street preacher John Sherwood has been cleared of charges of hate speech. He was arrested after preaching the traditional definition of marriage near Uxbridge Underground Station in April 2021.
