5. Empowered for Counter-Cultural Faithfulness
Learning to pray from a place of deep understanding, naturally flowing conversation, faithful repetition, and true abiding poises us to become living, breathing prayer itself. In this space, when people see us, they will see God first. Instead of exhaustion, our focus becomes the Holy Spirit’s power and influence upon our lives. We replace our need for reputation, knowledge, others’ admiration, pleasure, and achievement with genuine contentment. In this posture, we become real perceivers of holiness in the world. Are you surrendered to the “wind of the Holy Spirit,” allowing God to usher you away from cultural standards and into His eternal perspective?
