What purpose does this “knowledge” serve? The answer is in verse 10. The goal is for students to “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Oh, that we’d all be so faithful in leading students in our ministries! That way, each of them would live lives pleasing to the Lord, walk according to His ways, bear fruit in their lives, and grow in their love and knowledge of Him!
