A Major Payoff
If teens begin internalizing the gospel… If they are broken down and built up in it over and over… Then the actions we’re so concerned about will become more in line with kids’ identity as Christ-followers. But love for Christ, not love for feel-good morality, will motivate their actions.
This requires a level of surrender. But if we trust God, we know this is the better way for discipling teenagers in faith. It’s the only way to own a faith like the kind Jesus speaks of in Scripture.
