On Dec. 15, Fathom Entertainment will release a new film by former atheist and best-selling author Lee Strobel, titled “The Case for Miracles.”

Strobel investigates miracles to prove they still occur today by putting faith and skepticism to the test. According to the film’s synopsis, through “gripping interviews, real-life stories, and his own personal reflections, Strobel crafts a case that challenges skeptics and strengthens believers.”

Strobel asks, “Miracles sit at the heart of faith and line the pages of the Bible, but can we honestly believe that they still occur?”

“In a world where many people hunger for the supernatural, the question is not whether miracles matter, but whether they stand up to honest investigation,” Strobel said. “In Scripture, the blind see, the lame walk, and even the dead rise. And, remarkably, the evidence shows that the miraculous has not stopped. Miracles continue to happen among us today.”

Director Mani Sandoval said that this “film comes from a very personal place. Bringing these extraordinary stories to the big screen in a way that feels both credible and deeply human is vital.”

“Our hope is that audiences leave the theater lighter than when they arrived, carrying with them a renewed sense of possibility, where moments of wonder and grace are still unfolding in our world today,” Sandoval added.

Strobel’s investigation features scientific evidence of miracle healings, including the testimony of multiple sclerosis patient, Barbara Synder, who was on her deathbed when she was instantaneously cured. The film also shares the evidence captured by a Mozambique university research team of people being healed from blindness and deafness.

Strobel has written more than 40 books that have sold more that 18 million copies worldwide, including “The Case for Miracles.” Other titles Strobel is renowned for are “The Case for Christ,” “The Case for Faith,” “The Case for a Creator,” and “The Case for Grace.”

Tickets for “The Case for Miracles” will be available here on Oct. 31.
