Every organization has three basic needs. This philosophy resonates with me and, based on my experience, I can see how it relates to a thriving church, business, or a non-profit.

Christmas is an awesome reminder that God kept His promises from the Old Testament to send a Messiah to rescue His people from their sins. However, since that time, many Christmas myths have been added to the greatest story ever told.

There are common excuses I have heard – and made – when the race gets difficult on the way to the finish line in a race – and in life and leadership.

Spiritual growth is a journey, and that means it takes time. Sure, we want to speed up the process, but we can’t. It’s a lifetime journey where God teaches us one lesson at a time to develop our character so we become more like Jesus.

When our rights become bigger than the gospel, we can’t be surprised when our faith and our Savior are summarily dismissed by those who view our arguments as selfish and unkind. And, overwhelmingly, those who hold that view are our children.

Can a person lose their salvation? How can I know that I'm really saved? What if I slip up and commit a big sin?

“What comes to your mind when you think of the Christmas story?” Number one answer? “The movie.” Call them Generation X-mas: this survey has plenty to teach us about outreach.

God used the pandemic to birth four new congregations, officially launching last weekend. My heart is so full as I write this. I am so proud of our team and so thankful to be able to see a new church in those amazing cities.
